The Diamond Star is a light aircraft of the Austrian manufacturer Diamond Aircraft. She had her first flight on 5 November 1997 and has been producing since 2000. This production takes place in Zeigwerk in Canada. The machine is primarily made of fiber-reinforced plastic, which is known above all for its economy. Mainly we used the Diamond Star for training purposes, as well as for the training of private and professional pilots. On request, the aircraft can also be delivered with a Garmin G1000 glass cockpit. It can also be used for self-guided flights, night flights and instrument flights. This varies depending on the equipment. The machine can alternatively be supplied with a diesel engine. This version is also called DA 40 D and is known for its sustainable consumption. On April 8, 2010, another version, the DA 40 NG, was certified by EASA. NG stands for New Generation. This model has an AE300 engine.
